Nike has announced a landmark partnership with Faith Kipyegon, the most decorated woman middle-distance runner in history, to launch a special collection of running footwear and apparel that blends high-performance innovation with rich cultural storytelling.

The collection was unveiled ahead of Kipyegon’s historic attempt to become the first woman to run a mile in under four minutes, scheduled for June 26.

Designed to support runners chasing their best, the line features Nike’s latest Pegasus silhouettes, the Alphafly 3, the Victory 2 track spike, and Nike’s lightweight Aeroswift women’s apparel each piece imbued with personal symbolism and athletic purpose.

Central to the collection is Kipyegon’s Kenyan heritage, reflected boldly through design elements. The gear is adorned in purple which is her favorite color symbolizing the energy and passion she brings to competition.

Red and green accents, mirroring the Kenyan flag, appear throughout, paying tribute to her roots and her impact on the global running community.

“The Nike collection represents the parts of my life that I bring to every run, my Kenyan heritage, dedication to my daughter, and commitment to pushing boundaries in life and sport.

“The entire collection is beautiful and built for performance, and I hope each piece inspires athletes, especially women, to dream big, then put in the hard work to turn their dreams into reality,” Kipyegon said.

A standout feature of the collection is the use of a double Swoosh logo on each footwear silhouette, inspired by the bond between Kipyegon and her daughter.

The motif meant to represent empowerment across generations. Meanwhile, blurred print designs featured throughout the apparel reflect her generational speed and global dominance in the sport.

The collection also includes her initials, “FK,” which take on a dual meaning as “Fastest Known”, a nod to her numerous world records, including in the mile and 1,500 meters.

Kipyegon’s journey from running barefoot in rural Kenya to standing atop the world stage as an Olympic champion and world record-holder is woven into the fabric of this collaboration.

As she prepares to make history once again, Nike’s partnership spanning 16 years continues to support every aspect of her performance, from gear to mental preparation.

Faith Kipyegon’s Nike collection will be available globally starting June 20 at nike.com and select retailers.
