Major League Soccer (MLS) is set to take a major leap in its digital transformation as the league and Apple jointly announced a landmark update to their partnership: beginning in 2026, every MLS match will be available to all Apple TV subscribers at no additional cost.

Starting next year, fans will be able to stream every regular-season matchup, the annual Leagues Cup, the MLS All-Star Game, the Campeones Cup, the Audi MLS Cup Playoffs, and a full slate of behind-the-scenes programming all included in one Apple TV subscription with no blackout restrictions.

The move consolidates MLS viewership into a single global destination, delivering live and on-demand content in more than 100 countries and regions.

The strengthened partnership arrives at a pivotal moment for North American football, with anticipation building ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup. Offering seamless global access is expected to boost MLS’s international reach and deepen engagement with a rapidly growing fan base energized by high-profile players such as Lionel Messi and Son Heung-Min.

Apple is positioning MLS alongside its expanding live sports lineup, which includes “Friday Night Baseball” doubleheaders and U.S.

Formula 1 race coverage, together with a substantial library of acclaimed original films, documentaries, and series. As part of the transition, full-season ticket holders for MLS clubs will receive an Apple TV subscription beginning in 2026, ensuring fans enjoy complete access to live matches and curated studio programming.

MLS Commissioner Don Garber echoed the sentiment, highlighting the league’s long-term commitment to accessibility and innovation.

“Our partnership with Apple has always been about innovating for our fans. Bringing every MLS match to Apple TV takes that vision to the next level by making it easier than ever for fans everywhere to watch, connect and be part of the game.”

The announcement comes as MLS celebrates its 30th season, a period marked by expansion, surging attendance, improved viewership and a rising global profile.

As digital platforms continue to reshape the sports entertainment landscape, the integration of MLS into Apple TV positions the league at the forefront of the streaming era while boosting value for both new and longtime supporters.
