The LTE model gets a RM100 rebate and a free charger until the end of the year.
Wallet at the centre
The Galaxy A18 LTE is priced at RM1,099 for a limited time, down from its recommended retail price of RM1,199.
The main feature is Samsung Wallet, which users can open by swiping up from the lock screen. It supports QR payments through MAE Scan and Pay at participating merchants, and also stores movie tickets, flight boarding passes and digital cards.
Eligible taps and scans earn reward points. These can be redeemed for vouchers through the app or used for discounts when buying new Samsung products.
The LTE model runs One UI 9.0, which lets users scan DuitNow QR codes directly from the camera app.
Samsung says payments are protected by its Knox security platform, including Knox Vault, a hardware-based environment for sensitive data.
Performance and cameras
The phone has a 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display and a Helio G99+ processor. Samsung says its upgraded LPDDR5 memory speeds up app launches and multitasking while cutting power consumption by 20%.
The RAM Plus feature can use up to 6GB of storage as virtual memory, and users can switch it off to save space for photos and videos.
At the back is a triple-camera system with a 50MP wide lens, a 5MP ultra-wide and a 2MP macro.
AI features
The phone includes an enhanced Circle to Search, which lets users search for anything on screen without leaving the app. A new Find the Look feature can search for an entire outfit or identify music playing nearby.
Users can also ask AI agents such as Gemini and Perplexity, by voice command or long press, to open supported Galaxy and selected third-party apps.
Durability and software support
The Galaxy A18 has IP64 protection against dust and water splashes. Samsung says it is not recommended for beach or pool use. The front is covered with Corning Gorilla Glass 3, and the back is a glass-fiber-reinforced polymer cover.
Price and availability
From 14 October to 31 December 2026, buyers of the Galaxy A18 LTE get a RM100 rebate and a free 25W charger worth RM89. The phone comes in Light Blue, Black and Silver.
