Samsung Electronics announced its latest smart refrigerator series equipped with AI Hybrid Cooling, smart screens, and smart home integration. The launch marks a new step in the company's efforts to strengthen the "Screens Everywhere" concept, which was first introduced at Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2025.

The new refrigerator is equipped with AI Vision Inside technology, which allows the system to automatically identify up to 37 types of food. This technology not only assists users in food management, but also provides smarter recipe suggestions and meal planning.

AI Vision Inside is also now able to recognize processed foods and provide suggestions for users to stock up on frequently purchased items. This feature aims to reduce food waste and improve efficiency in raw material storage.

As part of the new technology this refrigerator acts as a smart home control center where the Bixby voice assistant integration allows users to control the refrigerator and other appliances in the home using voice commands, making the kitchen experience more ideal and interactive with family.

This refrigerator also introduces a more flexible design including an auto open door which allows the door to open with a light touch, making it easier to access when your hands are full.

The models launched include 4-Door, 4-Door French Door, and Side-by-Side refrigerators, with a variety of interactive screen options such as 9- inch AI Home Screen.

This launch is expected to accelerate the growth of the smart home appliance market which is growing due to the increasing demand for AI-integrated devices. Samsung is currently competing with other brands such as LG and Bosch, which have also introduced smart refrigerators with AI capabilities.

However, with a focus on interactive screens, deeper AI integration, and the "Screens Everywhere" concept, Samsung has the potential  by offering more significant added value to consumers.

The global launch of this refrigerator is expected to strengthen Samsung's position in the home appliance industry, while redefining the smart kitchen experience of the future.
