Samsung Electronics announced that it will host a series of four moderated Tech Forum panel discussions during Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2026, underscoring its artificial intelligence (AI) vision and highlighting key industry trends shaping technology and daily living.
The Samsung Tech Forums will take place on January 5–6, 2026, at the company’s dedicated exhibition space in the Latour Ballroom at the Wynn Las Vegas. The forums will bring together Samsung executives, industry partners, academics, media representatives and analysts to discuss developments across AI, home appliances, services and design.
According to Samsung, the discussions are designed to complement its latest product innovations, which will be showcased at the Samsung Exhibition Zone at the Wynn from January 5–7.
The first panel, “When Everything Clicks: How Open Ecosystems Deliver Impactful AI,” will be held on January 5 at 9:00 AM. The session will be chaired by Yoonho Choi, representing Samsung’s Digital Appliances Business and Chair of the Home Connectivity Alliance.
The discussion will focus on the importance of cross-industry collaboration in building meaningful smart home ecosystems. Panelists will examine how interoperability, open standards and partnerships between technology providers are essential to integrating AI-driven smart home solutions into everyday life.
Samsung said the session will explore what it takes for smart home technologies to move beyond novelty and become seamlessly embedded into daily routines, delivering tangible value to consumers.
The second forum, “In Tech We Trust? Rethinking Security & Privacy in the AI Age,” will take place on January 5 at 2:00 PM. The panel will be led by Shin Baik, Group Head of the AI Platform Center at Samsung Electronics.
As AI adoption accelerates across industries and consumer devices, the session will examine growing concerns around data protection, transparency and system security. Experts in AI and cybersecurity will discuss how trust is built in intelligent systems and why secure-by-design approaches are becoming increasingly critical.
The panel will also explore how improved governance, explainable AI and transparent data practices can help foster broader acceptance of AI technologies among consumers and businesses.
Later that day, at 4:00 PM on January 5, Samsung will host “FAST Forward: How Streaming’s Next Wave is Redefining Television.” The discussion will be led by Salek Brodsky, Executive Vice President of Samsung’s Visual Display Business.
The session will explore the rapid evolution of television and streaming services, with particular attention to free ad-supported streaming television (FAST), hybrid content models and the rise of creator-led channels. Industry leaders from the TV and entertainment sectors will discuss how these trends are reshaping viewing habits and opening new opportunities for engagement.
The final panel, “The Human Side of Tech: Designing a Future Worth Loving,” will be held on January 6 at 1:00 PM. The session will be led by Mauro Porcini, President and Chief Design Officer of Samsung’s DX Division.
The discussion will address the role of design in shaping the next generation of technology products and services. Design leaders will argue for moving beyond purely minimalist or specification-driven approaches toward more expressive, human-centred design philosophies.
Samsung noted that the Tech Forum discussions are intended to provide deeper context around the company’s broader strategy and innovation roadmap.
The panels will complement product announcements and demonstrations featured at the Samsung Exhibition Zone throughout CES 2026.
