PLUS Malaysia Berhad expects a surge in vehicles on its highway network as Malaysians travel back to their hometowns for the Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebrations.
The highway operator is advising motorists to plan their journeys using the MyPLUS-TTA digital travel schedule, available through the PLUS mobile application to help reduce congestion and ensure smoother traffic flow.
MyPLUS-TTA allows users to choose the most suitable travel time based on expected traffic conditions.
By following the suggested travel schedule, motorists may experience a smoother journey during the festive period.
The travel advisory is available for journeys on the PLUS Highway and the East Coast Expressway 2 (LPT2) between March 18 and March 30, 2026. The PLUS application can be downloaded for free from the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
Through the app, users can also access useful travel information such as toll plaza locations, Rest and Service Areas (R&R), available facilities, and real-time traffic CCTV views.
Motorists can check traffic updates through the PLUS app, the PUTRI virtual assistant, official X accounts @plustrafik and @lpt2trafik, electronic message signboards, and national radio stations.
PLUS encourages highway users to plan their trips in advance and follow the MyPLUS-TTA schedule to help ensure a smoother balik kampung journey this Aidilfitri season.
