Nintendo has confirmed that pre-orders for the highly anticipated Nintendo Switch 2 will officially open on April 24, 2025. The console is set to launch globally on June 5, and prices will remain as previously announced.
The standard Nintendo Switch 2 will retail for USD449.99 in the United States. A bundle that includes the console along with the new Mario Kart World game will be priced at USD499.99.
Both Mario Kart World and Donkey Kong Bananza will also be available as standalone titles, priced at USD79.99 and USD69.99 respectively. These prices apply to both physical and digital editions.

In its announcement, Nintendo also stated that there will be price adjustments for certain Switch 2 accessories compared to the initial figures shared on April 2.
The changes are due to evolving market conditions, which have affected production costs. Accessories impacted include the Pro Controller, Joy-Con pairs, the camera, dock set, and carrying cases.
Nintendo added that future pricing for its products could change depending on the market situation.
The company also expressed gratitude for the patience shown by customers and shared its excitement ahead of the upcoming launch.
