Nike has officially announced the return of one of its most iconic football boots, the Hypervenom, now reimagined as the Hypervenom RGN.

Blending tradition with innovation, this release updates a classic boot to meet the performance needs of modern attackers.

Originally launched in 2013, the Hypervenom quickly became a favorite among strikers for its lightweight design and aggressive style.

The new Hypervenom RGN brings back the beloved upper from the original model featuring NikeSkin with mesh and Gripskin for enhanced touch but pairs it with the modern soleplate from the Hypervenom 3, offering improved traction and stability.

One of the most striking features of the Hypervenom RGN is its Bright Citrus colorway, a vivid orange combined with black accents  paying direct homage to the original launch color.

It’s a nostalgic nod that longtime fans will recognize instantly, while still looking fresh for a new generation of players.

Nike says the boot is specifically built for attackers who thrive on quick cuts and sharp strikes which means a playstyle that the original Hypervenom helped define. The RGN stands for “Regeneration,” reflecting the rebirth of the model with a perfect mix of past and present.

The Nike Hypervenom RGN will be available starting May 29, 2025, through Nike.com and selected retailers worldwide.

With its blend of retro flair and modern performance, this launch is expected to resonate strongly with both longtime fans and players looking for a standout boot on the pitch.
