Nestlé on Friday announced that Jeff Hamilton, currently Business Head of Purina PetCare Zone Europe, has been appointed Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Zone Americas and member of the Group Executive Board, effective July 1, 2025.

Hamilton will succeed Steve Presley, Executive Vice President and CEO of Zone Americas, who will retire from the company after nearly three decades of service. Presley will step down from his position and leave the Group Executive Board on April 30, 2025.

In a statement, Nestlé CEO Laurent Freixe expressed his appreciation for Presley’s significant contributions over the years.

“We are very grateful to Steve for his many years of dedicated service to our company and extend our best wishes to him for his future endeavors,” Freixe said.

Hamilton brings more than three decades of experience within the Nestlé Group, having first joined Purina in the United States in 1991 as a sales representative.

Over the course of his career, he has held multiple leadership roles across three Zones. His previous positions include President and CEO of Nestlé Canada, President of Nestlé’s Foods Division in the United States, and Vice President of Marketing at Nestlé Purina Asia, Oceania, and Africa.

Hamilton holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, one of the leading business schools in the United States.

The Americas region (Zone AMS) is a critical market for Nestlé, encompassing key operations in North America, Latin America, and the Caribbean.

Under Hamilton’s leadership, Nestlé aims to continue strengthening its market presence and driving innovation across its diverse portfolio of brands.
