McLaren Racing has announced a new partnership with Etihad Airways, which will become an official partner of the McLaren Mastercard Formula 1 Team and the McLaren United Autosports WEC Hypercar Team starting in the 2026 season.

The partnership brings together the global motorsport team and the UAE’s national airline to support McLaren’s racing activities around the world.

Etihad’s extensive network, which covers more than 100 destinations will help connect key Formula 1 and endurance racing locations across regions including the Middle East, Asia, Europe, Australia and the United States.

As part of the collaboration, Etihad branding will appear on McLaren race cars and driver helmets, including on the rear wing and halo of the team’s MCL40 car.

Both companies also plan to create digital campaigns and fan engagement experiences throughout the partnership.

Etihad will also introduce a special aircraft livery featuring McLaren Racing branding on one of its Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft, which will fly across the airline’s international network.

The partnership highlights both companies’ commitment to innovation and delivering high-quality experiences to global audiences, while also reinforcing Etihad’s strong presence in motorsport, including its role as the title sponsor of the Formula 1 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
