
Malaysia made history with the successful launch of the Asia Consumer Sourcing Expo Malaysia 2025, held from 30 November to 2 December 2025 at Hall 2, Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC), Kuala Lumpur. The three-day Expo brought together international manufacturers, local businesses, and regional trade buyers on a single platform, highlighting Malaysia’s growing role as a key hub for sourcing and trade.
Organised by Sanz Expo and Hong Kong Global Exhibition & Conference, CSEA Malaysia 2025 successfully established itself as the nation’s first large-scale B2B consumer sourcing platform, connecting international manufacturers with local and regional buyers.
The Expo was officiated on 1 December 2025 by Mr. Yusri Hasnan Chu Abu Bakar, Executive Director of Corporate Management Services at the Malaysian Investment Development Authority, in the presence of Mr. Muhammad Norman Hakim Najib, Assistant Manager (Exports Promotion and Market Access Division) at MATRADE.
Attracting more than 10,000 trade buyers and visitors over three days, the Expo featured over 200 international exhibitors showcasing more than 3,000 innovative consumer products across four key categories from across Asia. The Expo presented a comprehensive product showcase across Home Appliances and Electronics, Automotive Accessories and Aftermarket, Daily Use Products and Gifts, as well as Hardware and Tools.
Key Highlight Driving Business

A major driver for the event's was the highlighted One-to-One Business Matching Program. This service efficiently facilitated pre-scheduled meetings between buyers and exhibitors, resulting in numerous direct sourcing and partnership opportunities.
Other major highlights designed to enhance the visitor experience included:
- Test Drive Experience Zone: Featuring leading smart mobility brands like Proton e.MAS, Mazda, XPeng, and Lytron EV Bikes, allowing visitors to experience the latest in automotive technology.
- ASEAN Awardee Showcase: Presented by ASEAN Record, this display highlighted award-winning products and brands recognized for excellence in innovation, design, and sustainability.
- Industry Workshops & Sessions: Provided practical market insights and networking opportunities from industry leaders.
- Visitor Giveaways: Attendees received complimentary gifts, with pre-registered trade buyers receiving an exclusive Pickleball Paddle and walk-in visitors receiving a Goodie Bag, alongside the Grand Lucky Draw offering a China Tour Package worth RM5,000.

The Asia Consumer Sourcing Expo Malaysia 2025 also benefited from the strong collaboration of several well-known trade and industry associations, demonstrating robust support from Malaysia’s business community and regional partners.
Key supporting associations included SME Association of Malaysia, Malaysia Digital Chamber of Commerce (MDCC), The Association of Energy and Infrastructure Economy (PETIR), the Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serdang, Selangor (SSCCCI), the Malaysia Budget & Business Hotel Association (MyBHA), the Association of Credit Management Malaysia (ACMM), Malaysia Wholesalers Association (PPM) and the Ningbo Yinzhou International Automobile Parts Chamber of Commerce. These partners were crucial in connecting businesses, fostering cross-border partnerships, and strengthening the nation’s trade ecosystem.
Overall, CSEA Malaysia 2025 delivered on its promise, successfully showcasing Malaysia’s rising role as a strategic regional trade and sourcing hub. The event successfully provided SMEs, retailers, wholesalers, and distributors with valuable opportunities to forge new partnerships, source competitively priced products, and strengthen international business networks, aligning perfectly with this year’s ASEAN theme of regional collaboration and sustainable growth.
