Malaysia Aviation Group (MAG) returns as the Official Airline Partner and Premier Sponsor of MATTA Fair 2025, which is taking place from 18 to 20 April at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC), Kuala Lumpur.

MAG introduces the MAG Arena, a 16,000 square-foot showcase filled with interactive experiences. Highlights include a walk-through of its latest A330neo aircraft cabin, AI-powered travel inspiration displays under the Time For campaign, and an exclusive meet-and-greet with three Manchester United Legends.

In conjunction with the fair, Malaysia Airlines is offering up to 30 percent off on Economy and Business Class fares for all domestic and international routes. 

The promotion is valid for travel until 31 March 2026 and can be redeemed at the event and online via Malaysia Airlines’ website and mobile app until 28 April.

Firefly is also offering reasonable fares starting from RM59 on all its operated routes. Enrich members will enjoy early access to deals during the exclusive 48 hours Enrich Priority Sale from 15 to 16 April, along with an additional 5 percent discount on online bookings.

In the meantime, India’s Minister of State for External Affairs and Textiles, Shri Pabitra Margherita, will be visiting Kuala Lumpur on 18 and 19 April 2025. 

He is leading an Indian delegation as part of the ASEAN-India Tourism Professionals Exchange Programme 2025, organised under the ASEAN-India Fund in collaboration with the Assam Tourism Development Corporation (ATDC).

The programme is aligned with the designation of 2025 as the ASEAN-India Year of Tourism, as announced at the 21st ASEAN-India Summit. It aims to highlight India’s diverse tourism offerings, with a special focus on North-East India.
