Automobili Lamborghini has officially launched its latest model, the Temerario, in Toronto this week, marking the final step in the brand’s transition to hybrid power.

The High Performance Electrified Vehicle (HPEV) replaces the iconic Huracán and completes Lamborghini’s fully hybridized lineup, which already includes the Revuelto and the versatile Urus SE Super SUV.

The Temerario features a newly developed twin-turbo V8 engine paired with three electric motors, delivering a total output of 920 CV (907 hp). This all-new engine, developed entirely in Sant’Agata Bolognese, is the first production V8 from Lamborghini capable of revving up to 10,000 rpm.

The car accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.7 seconds, with a top speed exceeding 340 km/h (210+ mph) setting a new benchmark for super sports cars in terms of speed, power, and electrified performance.

Lamborghini is currently experiencing an unprecedented era of growth and transformation, producing over 10,000 vehicles annually. In 2024, the company delivered 10,687 units, marking a 5.7% increase from the previous year and setting a new company record.

The Temerario will begin customer deliveries in 2026, with a suggested retail price of $432,490 CAD. This launch marks another major milestone in Lamborghini’s Direzione Cor Tauri strategy, which aims to reduce fleet-wide CO2 emissions by 40% per vehicle by 2030.
