Honda Malaysia has officially launched the New Honda HR-V, bringing fresh updates, upgraded technology, and expanded safety features to one of the country’s most popular B-segment SUVs.

This latest model now available for viewing and booking at all authorised Honda dealerships and via Honda Malaysia’s online platforms reinforces Honda’s commitment to delivering dynamic performance, stylish design, and intelligent innovation to Malaysian drivers.

Targeted for launch in Q3 2025 and now officially open for booking, the New HR-V arrives as a refreshed version of a well-loved nameplate. Since its Malaysian debut in 2015, the HR-V has become a mainstay in the non-national B-SUV segment, recording over 170,000 units sold as of July 2025 and currently holding a 41% market share in the segment.

The New HR-V makes a bold visual statement with several refreshed design elements. The range-topping e:HEV RS variant features a minimalist front grille, new 18-inch two-tone alloy wheels, and a sleek full LED taillight strip.

Inside, Honda has modernised the cabin with an 8-inch floating display unit, sporty RS-embossed seats, and a redesigned centre console featuring wireless charging for added convenience.

Across all variants, the New HR-V now supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, complemented by USB-C ports at the front and rear, keeping drivers and passengers connected and charged on the go.

Powertrain Options for Every Driver

Honda continues to offer a powertrain for every type of driver:

•1.5L DOHC i-VTEC Petrol Engine: Producing 121PS and 145Nm of torque, this entry-level option provides a smooth and efficient everyday driving experience.

•1.5L VTEC Turbocharged Engine: For those seeking excitement, this variant delivers 181PS and 240Nm of torque, offering exhilarating performance with sporty acceleration.

•1.5L e:HEV Hybrid Powertrain: Combining fuel efficiency with responsive power, this hybrid system produces 131PS and an impressive 253Nm of torque. With three driving modes, ECON, Normal, and Sport, it adapts effortlessly to urban commutes or long highway drives.

Safety remains a core pillar of Honda’s design philosophy, and the new HR-V raises the bar further. All variants now come standard with the Honda SENSING suite of advanced driver assistance systems. The RS variant adds Adaptive Driving Beam and Active Cornering Light, offering greater visibility and peace of mind on every journey.

The New HR-V is now available in two bold new colour options: Phoenix Orange Pearl and Crystal Black Pearl, adding a touch of personal flair to its sporty silhouette. These join the existing colour palette to offer more variety for discerning customers.
