Apple has launched the new AirPods Max 2, featuring improved sound quality, stronger noise cancellation, and several new smart features.

The headphones are powered by Apple’s H2 chip, which delivers up to 1.5 times better Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) compared to the previous model, it can block out more background noise such as traffic and public transport.

AirPods Max 2 also offer enhanced audio performance with a new amplifier, providing clearer sound, better bass, and more natural tones. The device supports lossless audio (24-bit, 48 kHz) when connected via USB-C, giving users a higher-quality listening experience.

Apple has introduced several new features to improve usability. These include Adaptive Audio, which automatically adjusts sound settings based on the environment, and Conversation Awareness, which lowers volume when the user starts speaking.

Other features include Voice Isolation for clearer calls, Live Translation for real-time language communication, and Personalised Volume that adjusts audio based on user preferences.

The new model also supports studio-quality audio recording and includes a camera remote function, allowing users to take photos or record videos using the headphones.

AirPods Max 2 will be available in multiple colours, including midnight, starlight, orange, purple, and blue. In Malaysia, the headphones are priced starting from RM2,299 and are expected to be available soon.
